Labs
Projects and practical experiments make for a large part of the Undergraduate Electrical Engineering Program, as they link theory to practice. The EE department runs several laboratories and other specialized facilities.
Undergraduate Labs
The Undergraduate Labs are currently located in Building III (Ruwais), and in the Arzanah buildings. The following undergraduate labs are currently operational:
- Electric Circuits and Electronics Lab
- Electric Machines Lab
- Digital and Microprocessors Lab
- Feedback Control Lab
- Instrumentation and Measurements Lab
- Power Systems Lab
- Electronics Workshop

Research Labs
Research Facilities are also starting to develop at the PI EE Department. Current research labs are:
- High Voltage Lab
- Power Electronics and Power Quality Lab
- Real-Time (Power Systems) Digital Simulator Lab
